Bonnie H
The average age range: 28-60 years.
Hand weights: 3-5 pounds
Experience level: Beginner/Intermediate/Experienced
Conditioning level: De-conditioned, conditioned, or fit exercisers.
Aerobic impact level: Medium
Aerobic intensity level: Moderate to Heavy (Heavy breathing with some periods of speaking only in short phrases; Some use of pylometrics with frequent use of squats and/or lunges during aerobics.)
Routine: Significant variation in aerobics patterns and strength/flexibility exercises from class to class, but the participants are familiar with the Instructor’s choice of exercise.

Instructor's comments: I show modifications for all levels.  Most of my classes combine light weights and core conditioning, I mix up the circuit, kick-boxing and choreography from week to week.  Multi-levels fo exertion are shown, 8 minute warm-up, 30 minutes of cardio, followed by floor work and cool down/stretch at the end.  My classes are FUN, with variety from week to week.

Instructor's comments: I have a great group of ladies, they are very loyal to Martha Rounds Slimnastics.  We try different things on occasion, but my ladies don't like whay they call "dance steps" - they say it makes them THINK and they think all day at work and don't want to think too much in exercise class.  They just want a good workout!

Instructor's comments: My class is designed to meet the needs of an active lifestyle.  The routine varies from class to class in an effort to provide some cross training and to keep boredom from settling in.  I beleive fitness is a lifetime goal.

Instructor's comments: I modify a LOT. Tuesdays are "boot camp", Thursdays I rotate "old style", yoga, circuits, and bands.  I have a talkative bunch of gals.  They complain a lot about how I make them sweat but they keep coming back.  We have a "ladies night out" every session.

Instructor's comments: My class is good for older people in good shape and new people who want to get moving but not hop around too much.  I do a lot of the same exercises, but just mix them up from week to week - with new ones thrown in from time to time.  I use weights most days, with short bands a few times during a session and long bands on occasion.  I was a class member for 20 years before becoming a teacher - but I really just love to exercise!

Instructor's comments: My first Zumba certification was with "Beto" himself in 2006.  I was among the first graduating class of Zumba instructors in Puerto Rico.  My Zumba class is a fusion of all my dancing abilities with some classic Beto moves to achieve the underlying Zumba philosophy "make it a party."  No two classes are ever the same or have the same music.

Instructor's comments:  I get bored doing the same thing all the time, so on occasion I add an element of "surprise", something unexpected and fun.  The participants in my class like to be pushed to a point just slightly beyond their comfort zone.  I think what I like best about the people in my class is that they are so friendly and care about each other.

Instructor's comments: My class is a total body conditioning, a standard all-around workout.  I try to cover all aspects of fitness, with a slightly different "focus" in each class to avoid getting bored.  I adjust the exercises to various fitness levels.
